Effect of 6-Benzylaminopurine (BA) and Paclobutrazol (PBZ) with Light Intensity Variations for Cherry Tomatoes In vitro Flowering

Utilization of Solanum lycopersicum L. and its varieties contribute to plant biotechnology study the effect genes flower transition events. This aims optimize media light intensity for in vitro flowering a cherry tomato variety. Induction was carried out using seven types combined with 3 intensities, followed by feeding adding liquid medium MS+PBZ 1 mg/L. A positive response is shown at 2,600 lux; there are 5 explants that have buds. The percentage buds each treatment combination 50% from two replications. first shoots occurred 142 days after planting (DAP) on grown containing 0.5 mg/L BA, 0.75 PBZ, treatment. It can also be assumed emergence not because PGR induction treatment, but time had entered generative phase, considering plantlets been growing long time. Although effects BA PBZ confirmed, use lux appears best condition induction.
